Swami Vivekananda Subharti University is a State Private University. Subharti University (SVSU) was established under section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (U.G.C.) Act, 1956, under Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008. It is established in Subhartipuram, NH-58, NH58, Delhi, Haridwar, 250005.
In exercise of the powers vested under section 7 (b) of the Act, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has established the Centre for Distance and Online Education (Formerly Directorate of Distance Education) to help those who want to pursue higher studies, but are unable to do so through regular mode of education due to job constraints, family commitments or remoteness of location.

Subharti University Application Process (Online/Offline)
Applications can be submitted directly to DDE or through its city office in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
After verifying the applicant’s eligibility, admission will be approved, and a receipt of the fee and application form will be provided.
Specific documents need to be included with the Admission Form, which differs for Graduate and Postgraduate Programs.
Additionally, Candidate has to submit the Application Fees: Online (in case of Online Mode of Application) or offline as per the need. Then the admissions committee will review the application and provide an admission decision.
