Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan University Admission 2024
Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) was established and incorporated by the Government of Uttarakhand Act No. 33 of 2016. Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University is situated in a peaceful and pollution-free environment close to nature of the Garhwal ranges of Shivalik hills. The University has received its approvals and recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
The Admission Process of the university is very flexible and can be considered in online as well as offline ways. Both Online and Offline admission procedures are explained below elaborately. In addition to that, there is a separate training and Placement cell in the university premises to train and help students develop inhibit personalities and get exposure to various opportunities within their respective fields.

MAHG University Admission Dates 2024
The MAHG University allows Admissions in two sessions in a respective calendar or academic year. At first it starts in the beginning of the year in January month and lastly in June month. To exemplify, there are UG, PG and PHD Courses which are regulated by the university in a regular mode. There are several courses in Bachelors and Masters for which there is single session in an academic calendar that is January Session but in case we go for PHD or Doctorate of Philosophy then we have dual session in same academic year that is January and July session respectively.
MAHG University Application Process 2024 (Online, Offline)
The University Application can be pursued in both Online and Offline way. The University also consider the applications through merit and entrance examinations.
If we go through entrance examinations, then there are certain criteria rectified by the university that are stated as follow: –
Nationality and Age
Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University Entrance Examination (MAHGUEE).
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who have not taken the HGUEE must apply under international student category only.

Usually as per the trend going in the university the entrance examination is held between July 1 to July 15. Where the students need to fill up the form at the university website and there admit cards are issued 15 days before their scheduled examination. The result date is fixed by the university usually after 30 days of the examination.
On the Other hand, there is a provision of direct entry is also given. To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University offers direct admission to hill region candidates and scholarships (conditions apply) to rank holder students of all the central and state boards in India. Top 100 rankers in state board, top rankers in each district of Uttarakhand have and exemplary sports persons at National and International level.
MAHG University Application Fees
a) Students seeking admission to any of the academic programmes are advised to send their applications on the prescribed format obtained from the Admission Cell of Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand and Information centers on payment of Rs. 1000/-. (Application can also be downloaded from the University website. Enclose a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees five hundred only) drawn in favour of “Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University” payable at ‘Dehradun’. with downloaded application.
b) The candidates are advised to go through the details of the Programme interested in and its eligibility criteria before applying for the same.
c) The application form should be submitted or sent to “The Registrar, Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Village Dhaid Gaon, Block Pokhra, Dist. Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India”.
