Kalinga University Admission 2025: Kalinga University, Raipur has emerged as a centre of excellence of higher education in Central India. It was established in 2013, this university has been able to win the confidence of over 7000 students. The University got its recognition from University Grants commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council of Teaching Education (NCTE) and others.

Additionally, if we talk about the placement, The Training and Placement Department of this University provides guidance and all the assistance for the students to achieve their career goals. The Department takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares our students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmes.

Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga University also arranges guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too, from time to time.

Kalinga University Admission Dates

The Kalinga University allows Admissions in two sessions in a respective calendar or academic year.

At first, it starts at the beginning of the year in January month and lastly in June month.

To denote, there are undergraduate, Post graduate and Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Courses which are regulated by the university in a regular mode. There are several courses in Bachelors and Masters for which there is single session in an academic calendar that is January Session but in case we go for PHD or Doctorate of Philosophy then we have dual session in same academic year that is January and July session respectively.

    Kalinga University Application Process 2025 (Online, Offline)

     Firstly, The student needs to download application form

    Candidates seeking admission in Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate Programs have to take Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE).

    1. Candidates applying through KALSEE need not pay Rs. 1200/- application fee.

    Certificates

    The application form must be attached with self-attested photocopies of all eligibility certificates as given below:

    1. For Diploma and Under Graduate Programmes Copy of X, XII Mark Cards & Migration Certificate/ Transfer Certificate.
    2. For Post-Graduate Programmes Copy of X, XII, Graduation Certificate (all 3 years Marksheet, Degree/Provisional Degree) & Migration Certificates.

    Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE)

    Admission to Kalinga University UG/PG/Doctorate programs is based on the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). KALSEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT)

    Mode of examination: Online

    Type of Questions: MCQs

    Duration: 90 minutes (For all UG & PG Courses) 120 minutes (Only for Ph.D.)

    Negative marking: No

    Pass Percentage: 50%

    Kalinga University Application Fees

    The application fee for KALSEE 2024

    1. India & SAARC – Rs. 1200/- for all courses except Ph.D.
    2. India & SAARC – Rs. 3000/- for Ph.D.
    3. Fee for other countries & NRI – 40$ -for all courses except Ph.D.
    4. Fee for other countries & NRI – 50$ – for Ph.D

    For UG & PG Courses Registration has started from December 2023.

    Deposit of Fee

    Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate’s list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student’s claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates.

    Students can pay the fee by any mode – Online/ Cheque/Draft.

    At the time of deposit of fees, students need to deposit the original certificates with the Admission/Administration department & collect the receipt of the same.

    Enclosures to be attached with the filled-in application forms:

    • Self-attested photocopies supporting academics and evidence of proof for employment, self-employed candidates must attach the relevant documents as proof of work experience for their organization.
    • Candidates have to produce the originals of all documents at the time of personal interview as well as at the time of admission if selected

    All the information furnished in the application form should be carefully filled, complete and correct to the best knowledge of` the aspirants and following duly self-attested copies of all the required documents/certificates must be enclosed:

    Scholarship Objectives

    Social Scholarships

    1. 50 % Scholarships on tuition fee to the wards and siblings of Martyred Personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Central and State paramilitary forces and Police.
    2. 20 % Scholarship on tuition fee to the wards of Serving and retired personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Central and State paramilitary forces and police, NCC.
    3. 20 % Scholarship on tuition fees to students who are physically challenged at the time of applying.
    4. 30 % Scholarship on tuition fee to the Girl applicants.
    5. 20% Scholarship on tuition fee for the wards of Health and Hospital frontline workers.
    6. 100% Scholarship on tuition fee for the wards of Padmashree, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Bharat Ratna and National Award winners.
    7. 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for the students of North Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

    Merit Scholarships

    • Students who have scored a minimum 80 percentile and above in UGAT, JEE, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, LSAT, CLAT, SAT, GMAT, NEET, GATE, NDA, NIFT, UPSC, CGPSC or any other State PSC Examination are entitled
